A PROOF EXCUSE

The Story:    one day a gentleman had to go to his office an hour earlier than usual. He told the same thing to his servant, because he wanted to have his breakfast at 7 o’clock. But he got it lat by ten minutes. “Why have you kept me waiting for so long?” asked the angry master. “I am very sorry, sir,” replied the servant, “for this delay. However the fault is not at all mine. My watch loses time, but I forgot to bear the fact in mind.” “Either changes your watch,” said the angry gentleman, “or I will have to change my servant.”
